Portfolio Development Sessions
Capturing heartfelt, honest & open humans.
In 2022/2023, I am booking 10 pro-bono portrait sessions to aid in my portfolio development, creative exploration & skills as a photographer. No prior modelling experience is required—all I ask is that you are prepared to be open, honest & real in front of me and the camera. Read more below if you are interested in booking a session.
Session Details
If you are selected to take part, I will reach out to arrange a consult over the phone or in-person. This is where we will get to know each other, organise dates and other details. Feel free to ask as many questions as you like so that you know what to expect. This session is just as much for me as it is for you, so please be open and honest with what you are hoping to get out of the session.
You can expect some direction and guidance when it comes to posing and body language during our session, but ultimately, I want you to be yourself.
Please arrive to your session well-groomed, with multiple outfit options (to be discussed during our consult).
Duration: ranging from 30-90 minutes
Location: Canmore, Banff & Kananaskis areas
Eligibility
These sessions are open to those who identify with the groups below. Pro-bono sessions are not open for brand & commercial bookings, organisations, professional headshots, or family & group bookings.
I am looking for the following:
2 x queer couples of any gender/s
2 x queer individuals of any gender/s
2 x BIPOC individuals of any gender/s
2 x BIPOC couples of any gender/s
Please note: due to limited availability, I will be prioritising folks from intersecting marginalised backgrounds.
Terms
If you are selected to take part in a Portfolio Development Session, you agree to the following:
Images of you and your likeness will appear on my website, social media, printed material (including but not limited to business cards, art prints, brochures, portfolios, etc.) for an unlimited, indeterminate & infinite period of time for the purposes of sharing my work with potential clients, promoting my business, and so forth.
Images will not be resold or reproduced by either you (the subject) or me (the photographer) for commercial or marketing purposes, including but not limited to stock photography, brochures, billboards, newspaper advertising, business advertising, or any other purpose other than the personal, non-commercial use of the individual/s photographed without express written consent from both parties.
Credit will be given to me (@camillenathania and/or © Camille Nathania) as the photographer on any and all images shared.
